Clients send passwords over WhatsApp because that's all they know

Your client isn't being careless. They just don't have a better option, until you give them one.

When you send a doconvoy intake link instead of asking them to "just message me the login," you shift the default. They click a link, fill in a form, submit. It takes them the same amount of time. For you, it's encrypted and tracked, with a record you can point to later.

Two directions, both covered

Receiving from clients. Send a branded intake request. They see your logo, fill in your fields, and submit. Everything is encrypted in their browser before it reaches you. You get notified when it's ready.

Sending back to clients. When you need to hand back credentials (a final deliverable, a shared account, a deployment config), you send an encrypted one-time link instead of a message. They open it once. It expires.

No signup required for your clients

Clients don't need an account, a password, or a credit card. They open a link and submit a form. That's it. The friction is on your side (setting up the intake request), not theirs.

What this looks like in practice

You're onboarding a new e-commerce client. Instead of "can you send me your Shopify login?", you send them your branded intake link. They fill in the credentials, hit submit. You get a notification, open the submission, and you're set, with a timestamped record showing when it was submitted and verified.

That's a better first impression than a WhatsApp thread.
